Born in Siena on April, 8th 1953, graduated in 1978, University of Florence

 

2008 International Certification in Neurosonology

Teacher of Neurosonology at Neurophyisiological Techniques degree course

Teacher of Neurosonology for fellowship in Neurology

2016 January, member of the organizing Council and Teacher of the first level Master of the University of Florence on Advanced Neurophyisiological Techniques applayed to critic patients

Current research interests  

 

Neurosonological monitoring  in Intensive Care Units, ( transcranial Doppler in patients treated with: extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, subarachnoid hemorrhage, acute brain injury, Transcranial Doppler as a confirmatory test of  in brain death). Muscular Ultrasound evaluation in critical patient possibly evolving to critical illness myopathy and neuropathy.
